Lunch & Learn – What Every Supervisor Needs to Know: Noise & Hearing Conservation

January 30, 2020 | Parkersburg, WV

About this workshop

According to OSHA, 22 million workers are exposed to potentially damaging noise at work each year. Last year, U.S. business paid more than $1.5 million in penalties for not protecting workers from noise.

While it’s impossible to put a number to the human toll of hearing loss, an estimated $242 million is spent annually on workers’ compensation for hearing loss disability.

This lunch and learn seminar will help safety professionals and supervisors improve their workplace hearing conservation programs with practical information on noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), and the latest technology.

Attendees will enjoy lunch during the seminar.

This lunch and learn workshop will cover the:
– Basics of noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL)
– Key elements of an effective hearing conservation program
