Understanding Cybersecurity Workshop

August 6, 2019 | Beckley, WV

A cause for concern…

Cyber-attacks have quickly become a growing concern for companies of all sizes and industries. Our appetite for technology and being “connected” is quickly outgrowing our ability to protect it, leaving many vulnerable without even realizing it.

Cybersecurity Facts:

• Small & medium-sized businesses are attacked about 4,000 times a day

• Manufacturing companies are consistently a top 5 target

• 60% of small companies are unable to sustain their business over 6 months after an attack

• $445 billion is lost annually to cybercrime and espionage across the entire world economy

• Cybercrimes are projected to exceed 6 trillion by 2022

• Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), & NASA require compliance to cybersecurity standards

How will this workshop help?

If you are like many businesses, you may not know what is expected, or even how to get started. Join us for an event focused on understanding cybersecurity and how to best protect your company’s information. Attendees will learn:

• How to identify potential cyber-threats

• How to protect their employees and information from cyber-attacks

• What is required to be compliant with current cybersecurity standards
