West Virginia Development Office 
The West Virginia Development Office works to improve the quality of life for all West Virginians by strengthening communities and expanding the state’s economy to create more and better jobs.

West Virginia Division of Energy
The West Virginia Division of Energy is responsible for the formulation and implementation of fossil, renewable, and energy efficiency initiatives designed to advance energy resource development opportunities and provide energy services to businesses, communities, and homeowners in West Virginia.

West Virginia Small Business Development Center
The WVSBDC promotes economic development through a program of practical, interrelated services, providing assistance to existing small businesses and the emerging entrepreneur. The WVSBDC provides many free services that can assist you in your business ventures.

Natural Capital Investment Fund
The Natural Capital Investment Fund (NCIF) provides flexible financing to small and emerging natural resource-based businesses in rural, economically distressed communities in West Virginia; North Carolina; the Appalachian regions of Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio; and south Georgia. In addition to providing critical, timely capital, NCIF also support clients with technical assistance to help them build capacity for success.

TechConnect
TechConnect is a global technology outreach and development organization, matching highly qualified emerging technologies with corporate, government, and investment partners through community driven peer-review programs. TechConnect partners directly with the world’s leading innovation providers from academia and industry to deliver only the best technology solutions to our corporate and investment partners.
